Most football and rugby pitches will be either sand/rubber filled. These are often a 3G surface with a longer pile height. Some pitches can be sand dressed which is a shorter, denser pile height.

Pitch Cleanse packages are also available on football and rugby pitches to give them a deep clean. These are generally required every 3-5 years depending on the amount of usage.
