Protech AllWeather have been installing a new cricket wicket at Austin Friar's St. Monica Priory in Carlisle, Cumbria. The team working on the wicket were surprised and delighted to receive a visit from former England Cricket Captain, Alec Stewart OBE.
Alec is a trustee at the school and was keen to see the new wicket being installed. As one of Englands most respected cricketers, Protech AllWeather were pleased to chat with Alec and discuss the progress of the installation. Our Maintenance Director, Mark Beeby commented ''It was a pleasure to meet with Alec and chat with him. He was a pleasant person, a cricketing legend''.
